He attended Wingate University on a football scholarship. While playing for Wingate University, he broke the All Time Tackle Record that hasn't been broke for 15 years prior. DeMarkes broke the record in three years. While in North Carolina, he hosted the syndicated TV Show, "The Smackdown." After graduation he auditioned and became a Top 10 Finalist on BET's Fresh Faces Search. Demarkes guest hosted BET's 106 & Park where he got the chance to interview the Black Eyed Peas. Two other finalist are now the current hosts of 106 & Park, Rocsi and Terrence Jenkins. DeMarkes moved to LA in late 2009 to bring his acting career to the next level. Demarkes has appeared, starred, or guest starred in several feature films and television shows. His shows has appeared on numerous networks. He appeared on screen with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, best known from starring in The Sopranos, Jeanette McCurdy and Ariana Grande of Sam and Cat, Mindy Kaling who stars in Mindy Project and numerous others. He has appeared in the opening credits of the Mindy Project as well as appearing on the show on Fox. he has been mentioned in LA Times and appeared in New York Times. His films has appeared in many film festivals including Toronto and Berlin Film Festivals.
