Dean Cochran

Dean Cochran was born on Mar 18, 1969 in USA. Dean Cochran's big-screen debut came with False Witness directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman in 1989, strarring Student #2 (as James Dean Cochran). Dean Cochran is known for The Revenant directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Hugh Glass and Tom Hardy as John Fitzgerald. The upcoming new movie Dean Cochran plays is Deep Water which will be released on Mar 18, 2022.

Born and raised in New Orleans he holds black belts in both Kung Fu and Kenpo along with many regional championship belts.Dean got his start in the Celine Dion music video "(If There Was) Any Other Way". After graduating from Tulane University with a degree in Theatre, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He has performed in such plays as Hamlet (Hamlet), Macbeth (MacDuff), Burn This (Burton), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Brick) and A Streetcar Named Desire (Stanley). His television and film roles have had him acting alongside many recognizable stars including Colin Farrell, Eva Mendes, Chuck Norris, and George Clooney. He's had the starring role in "Air Marshal", "Shark Zone", and "Target of Opportunity".On the other side of the camera Dean is the Director of Post Production for New Regency Films working on the Academy Award winning films 12 Years a Slave and Birdman. Dean is currently working on Alejandro Inarritu's The Revenant which is in Post Production. His past credits as Post Production Supervisor include Ed Zwick's Love and Other Drugs, True Story, Unfinished Business, Bride Wars, Little Red Wagon, and numerous others.Dean is married to former Miss Teen USA and Miss USA Brandi Sherwood.
