David F. Jacobson

David F. Jacobson was born to parents Neil and Mikila in 1995. The eldest of three boys, his interest in filmmaking began aged nine when he and his younger brother Ethan started creating 'alternative movie franchises' using Lego minifigures such as 'Daft Vader', and an ambitious James Bond title sequence involving sharks. At college, his Classical Civilisations teacher encouraged him to pursue his interest in film through screenwriting but it wasn't until he enrolled at the University of Warwick that he took his first steps toward becoming a writer/director. His first short film at university provided a huge learning curve, the ambition of filming a car crash on little-to-no budget provided the spark for him to invest his future in a career in filmmaking. Since then, he has made a number of short films including directing a large anthology project entitled 'One Friday Night' and an entry into Crypt TV's #15SecondScare competition. Although the film did not win, it was later picked up by Crypt TV and distributed through their social media channels.
