Darshana Rajendran is an Indian actress in the Malayalam film industry. Darshana debuted her acting career in the 2014 Malayalam film John Paul Vaathil Thurakkunnu (2014). She then acted in Samarpanam (2017) and Tamil movie Kavan (2017). Later she completed her Master's degree in Financial Economics from City College, University of London. She then worked in a private firm in Chennai in the field of micro economics. She had developed interest in acting during her work days in Chennai and has been a part of numerous stage performances as well.Her breakthrough role as a lead came from the movie C U Soon (2020). Shot during the pandemic, and made as an experimental movie meant for digital streaming platforms, C U Soon, immediately strikes a chord with critics and viewers alike. The movie got a lot of praise for it's ambitious making style, that stretched the possibilities for story telling, as well us for the stellar performances of its cast. She subsequently appeared in Irul (2021), another film with Fahadh Faasil, also shot during the pandemic.
