Cid Machado was born on Apr 15, 1978 in Brazil. Cid Machado's big-screen debut came with Causo-X: A verdade esta na roca directed by Cid Machado in 2004.

Born in a country city of São Paulo state in Brazil. MSc by the Master's Post-Graduate Program in Imagem e Som (Image and Sound) at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), Bachelor's degree in the pioneering course of Imagem E Som - Produção Audiovisual (Image And Sound - Audiovisual Producer) at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), division 1998/2002. During the academic period he practiced several roles in audiovisual productions.While beginning his professional career, he teamed up with his former colleagues from Imagem E Som to produce fictional digital short videos.Beyond the fiction works, Cid Machado was part - for three years - of the board of professional cameramen of TV Unaerp, an university TV that produces reports and educative programs and documentaries broad casted by channel 10 (cable TV), TV Cultura from São Paulo (Fundação Padre Anchieta), TV Nacional de Brasília (Radiobrás network),TV Futura (TV Globo), TV Ilha do Sol (Baixada Santista), TV Escola and Ibe.TV (Spain).Another realm in which the director Cid Machado remains engaged is the dissemination and popularization of the audiovisual language, had been Content Coordinator of the São Paulo Film Commission NGO during 2005, an entity destined to foment, support and stimulate the audiovisual production in São Paulo state.He teaches cinema and video since 2000 in seminars, workshops and disciplines at art schools and at an university in Brazil.Among his works, he shot documentaries,advertising, and short films exhibited in several film festivals around Brazil, Portugal, Spain and at the Cinebarre chain in the US.
