Christie made her professional debut on the Australian television show Water Rats at 8 years of age. From there she worked extensively, featuring in numerous commercials and playing guest roles in both live theatre and local television. At sixteen she joined the cast of Home & Away playing Kirsty for 10 years, a role she reprised at the request of the network/director (Julie McGauren). Christie has recently played Ebony on Neighbours and Renee in Belvoir Streets production of A Letter For Molly. Christie has studied acting and scene work with some of the worlds most respected coaches in both Australia and the US. Christie is passionate about the arts and helping Australian indigenous actors to be seen in the industry. Her dream is for actors to be seen and considered for any role they can play rather than the roles dictated by skin colour.
