He was born in New York and Raised in Los Angeles California since he was 2 years old, the oldest of four (one sister two brothers). His parents both of Argentine decent gave him true and worm family life. Father, Mechanical Engineer, and his mother a homemaker but with a degree as a teacher, and Graphologist. In the mid 70's the family moved to Argentina for an interim of 6 years, giving Christian the possibility to meet his heritage and master the Castilian Language. Started a technical career en electronics and to his return to the United States continued, achieving a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering and Broadcasting communications. As a follow up he continued with his passion for the camera, the family designated cameraman since he was 8 years old with a Bell & Howell 8 mm camera. In the early eighties, working for RCA, he got offered a transfer to NBC, as such entered in the technical department and after a short tenure he moved in to the news division. In the mid to late eighties moving into NBC Productions, to shows like, Family ties, Alf and Miami Vice. As he saw his abilities with the camera being appreciated, he returned to study to the prestigious UCLA University, achieving again a degree, this time in the arts of Communication Film and Television. As an accomplished Videographer/Cinematographer with extensive technical and systems expertise, he has also been praised for his editing (linear and NLE) and working knowledge of film (16mm, 35mm). Credits include studio, location and live broadcast programming all around the world in a variety of settings and situations, extensive credits list of national and international shows, including, Soaps, Sitcoms, Series, docudramas, documentaries, live, musicals, reality, music videos, commercials, features, PSA and news, Film and Video. Went to Germany and worked with Deustche Welle TV, TVE Spanish Net, then South America to Brazil, Argentina and Chile on various programs. Most recently, Direct and/or produce several shows in/for Latin America and Europe. Working for several years to present with NBC & CBS Networks as a freelance DP on all major local and national stories. As a Director/Producer first or second unit, he posses all working and organizational skills, to accomplish and finish any story/program/or project, from conception to air or final print. Currently residing in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, most of the time he finds himself abroad on al kind of projects.
