Ching Danseco

Ching Danseco was born on May 05, 1968 in Philippines. Ching Danseco's big-screen debut came with Ano bang meron ka? directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes in 2001. Ching Danseco is known for Boses directed by Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil, Coke Bolipata stars as Ariel and Julian Duque as Onyok. The upcoming new movie Ching Danseco plays is Boses which will be released on Jul 31, 2013.

He graduated with a degree in Psychology from Arellano University Sampaloc, Manila.His first love as an artist is Folk Dance and he is an alumnus of the prestigious Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company and as such has given talks and lectures on Philippine folk dance for various organization, in particular - Malaysia's National Arts Academy or Akademy Seni Kebangsaan in Kuala Lumpur. He also mentored street children in Philippine Folkdance as part of Museo Pambata's outreach project.As a film maker he has given a lecture on Short Film Making and Philippine Folk Dance in Tohoku University's International Graduate School for Culture and Studies in Sendai, Japan. He has been involved in various capacities in many film and television projects, the latest of which is as script continuity supervisor is Badil, a Chito Rono Film.Having been a performer for most of his life, he has now delved into backstage work and as such Production and Stage Manager of various theater projects/events of the Cultural Center of the Philippines among which are: *PASINAYA *The Virgin Labfest *CCP Ballet Competion * NAMCYA *Cinemalaya *Andrea Veneracion International Choral Festival *APEC and *ASEAN *International Rondalla Festival*Indak PilipinasHe is also a teacher and a youth leader. He was the -Advisor of the recent Asian Youth Forum held in Vietnam & in Taiwan and is a member of the of Balsamo Outreach Learning and Teaching (BOLT), a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) based in Japan which provides teachers training seminars or workshops that are relevant and practical for educators. In addition to his many tasks at BOLT, he co - edits its' newsletter.He was the co-founder of HUG (Help Unlimited for Grade Schoolers).Finally, he is a member of Alpha Phi Omega International Philippines Incorporated, a service fraternity organization who upholds leadership, friendship and service.
