Chaz Chase

Chaz Chase was born on Mar 06, 1901 in Russia. Chaz Chase's big-screen debut came with West of Zanzibar directed by Tod Browning in 1928, strarring Music Hall Performer (uncredited). Chaz Chase is known for Cooper, Just Like That directed by Stuart Hall, Tommy Cooper stars as Self and Sisters Duane as Themselves. The upcoming new movie Chaz Chase plays is Démons de midi which will be released on Nov 28, 1979.

Chase made his name in vaudeville and burlesque in the 1920's, mostly by eating anything and everything such as cardboard, flowers, and even lit matches, cigars and cigarettes. He also appeared cameo-like in several movies and then, when the offers dried up, went on the carnival circuit for 20 years. In the 1950s, he made guest appearances on variety shows and in nightclubs and even showed up on Letterman before his death.
