He is a sought-after and versatile Director of Photography as demonstrated in the beloved sketch series Key and Peele. Previously he had an extensive career as Steadicam and camera operator with credits including the cult favorite 35 heures, c'est déjà trop (1999) and the powerful American History X (1998), and television series such as Scrubs (2001) and À la Maison Blanche (1999).In addition to his traditional industry credits, Papert is one of the co-founders of Instant Films, a 48-hour filmmaking festival based in Los Angeles. As such he executive produced over 125 short films, 11 of which he directed.
