Charles Homet is a graduate of the National Theater Institute of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. In New York he appeared in lead roles onstage in productions directed by Colleen Dewhurst, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Bill Irwin and others. For three years he toured nationally and internationally as a hearing actor with the Tony award winning National Theater of the Deaf. He was invited by The People's Republic of China to join a team helping to establish a theater company comprised of deaf Chinese actors. He studied acting in New York with the late Bobby Lewis.
