The Dutch-Surinamese singer/songwriter Channah Hewitt was born and raised in Amsterdam. At the age of 5 Channah landed her first role in a musical, leaving her convinced she had found her calling. By the age of 12-21 she attended a performing arts high school and later on college where she trained her singing, dancing and acting skills Monday-Friday. After college she landed roles in Stage productions such as The Lion King and Tina Turner the Musical. After making the hours off and on stage, Channah decided to take it a step further in her career and starts to compose and write her own songs; sharing her journey, beliefs and opening up her heart for the whole world to see, listen to and fall in love with. Be mesmerized by her strength, taken away by her vulnerability and blown away by her fierceness: Channah Hewitt has all the potential to be the next big thing.
