Cassius (Cash) Shuman is an acclaimed journalist, novelist, playwright and screenwriter. He began his career as a broadcast news journalist on radio and television. After a college baseball career at UMASS he worked for five years as a sports anchor on television and radio in Providence and Connecticut. Shuman spent several years writing, producing and directing stage plays Off-Broadway in Manhattan. In 1998, he wrote the feature script for the indie thriller "Running From the Shadows". His stage play "The War Room" (2004) received rave reviews in Daily Variety and other trade publications. Shuman's production company, Tucker Road Productions, is in preproduction on the horror thriller "Without Remorse". The story is based on the book by Dr. Vonda Pelto who treated notable serial killers like the Freeway Killers and Hillside Stranglers during her tenure as a psychologist at the Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail in the 80's.
