Carlos Agulló was born on Dec 09, 1974 in Spain. Carlos Agulló's big-screen debut came with Spectre directed by Mateo Gil in 2006.

A graduate of Fine Arts, Carlos Agulló worked as an Editor on numerous films with some of the best-known Spanish directors. He made the leap to Director with several fiction short films and developed this facet in parallel with that of Editor. His first feature-length film, "Plot for Peace" (2013), premiered in commercial cinemas in numerous countries. The NYT chose it as the critics' selection in the week of its premiere in the United States. Variety included in its list of 18 favorites for the Oscar for Best Documentary. It won prizes at numerous international festivals and was shown on Netflix worldwide for 5 years. His second feature-length film, "Los Demás Días" ("All the Other Days", 2017), was produced by Fernando Bovaira ("Los Otros"- "The Others", "Mar Adentro" - "The Sea Inside", "Biutiful", "Lucía y el sexo" - "Sex and Lucía"). It was unanimously acclaimed by the critics and shown on Movistar for 2 years. Recently he has directed second unit on "La Fortuna", the series by Alejandro Amenábar. His first series as a director, "The Challenge" (Amazon Original), has just premiered on March 2022.
