More than four decades passed since the Salem, Virginia native acted upon the promise he showed in two high school plays, and his subsequent first professional thespian attempts; and in one of those attempts he had to write the screenplay in order to cast himself. Reunion 108 took home top honors at the 2011 Hoboken Film Festival in the Best Unproduced Screenplay Category, and the movie by the same name, was shot the following year and scheduled for release the summer of 2013. The edgy, satirical comedy with parody, encompasses years of information gleaned from employment as a minor and major league baseball player, a broadcaster and a sportswriter.
