Swedish absurdist writer. The life he lead was as absurd as his books. He was the older brother of Roland Schutt, who wrote the book "Kadisbellan" ("The Slingshot"), that became a successful movie. In it you can see the older brother (Bertil) training boxing with the little brother (Roland) as a punch bag. Their mother was a Jewish seamstress and father a socialist agitator in Stockholm. Bertil's autobiography "En skuggboxares memoarer" ("Memoirs of a shadow boxer") came out in 1972.
