Bernadette has her Master of Fine Arts in Acting with a Directing Concentration from Regent University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Mason University. Some of her notable works include a nomination for Best Actress in Quantum (2015), winning Best Ensemble Acting in Family Business (2015), and landing lead roles on Alaska: Ice Cold Killers: Fire and Ice (2017) and Death by Gossip with Wendy Williams: Thrill Kill (2015).From 2017 - present, she has been working on developing a project called, "Meet Karen: The Friend That Nobody Likes". In 2016, she became certified in stage combat through the Society of American Fight Directors in Unarmed, Broadsword, Rapier and Dagger. She's taken extensive course work in the Uta Hagen and Meisner Techniques. She has trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Hollywood and performed sketch comedy at the Wells Theatre in Virginia and stand up at the Funny Bone Comedy Club.Her producing accolades include her short comedic/fantasy film My Fair Maiden (2016) which won Best Choreography and was nominated for Best Director Aaron Von Buseck, Best Graphics/Special Effects Aj Rickett, Best Actor Alexander Vaughn Miller, Best Actress Lauren Henry, Best Costumes and Best Use of Line at the Hampton Roads 48 Hour Film Competition 2016. My Fair Maiden (2016) was also selected to premiere at the Regent University Student Film Showcase 2017. Bernadette helped produce and cast the dramatic short film My Sister's Ghost (2017) which had previously won Best Dramatic Short Script at the Indie Gathering International Film Festival 2014. While living in the surrounding Norfolk, VA area, she volunteered her time for a couple of months to help out Hollywood actor Michael Copon at his film studio, Michael Copon Studios.
