Born in Ottawa to British parents, Benjamin moved with his family to Manila, Philippines as a four year old. His father John, an economist moved the family around to Vanuatu, Nepal and back to the Philippines where they lived for 21 years.Benjamin was constantly on stage, in commercials and appeared in several musicals. Acting was a constant since he appeared as Oliver on stage as an eleven year old.In this time Benjamin went to boarding school in Guernsey, Channel Islands and Sydney, Australia. He then worked for a year modeling in Asia and spent four years completing a Media and Communications degree at the University of Sydney.In 2003 Benjamin attended Vancouver Film school and graduated from their acting for film and television program.He spent the next year honing his craft and studying with many of Vancouver's best coaches including Andrew Mcilroy.In 2005 he produced and starred in the North American premiere of celebrated Australian Playwright Reg Cribb's 'The Return' directed by Andrew Mcilroy. It was then made into a film called 'Last Train to Freo.' Critics were impressed and he started working in film and television in Vancouver.He was a supporting lead in the Lifetime film, Mind Games and also appeared in Halle Berry's thriller, Frankie and Alice.He worked solidly in both Film and TV until 2011 when he moved to Bangkok, Thailand and co-founded a successful company. He met his Australian/British wife there and they were married in 2018.In 2018 he sold his share of the company and traveled the world.In 2019 he briefly appeared in the short 'Chances' which was shot in Vancouver.He is currently based in Vancouver.
