Becca Hurd is an American writer, actor and comedian. Originally from Warwick, Rhode Island, Becca attended Elon University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in degrees in Acting and Film & TV. From there she went on to Chicago, where she regularly performed improv and stand up comedy, primarily at The iO Theater. Within 6 months Becca had booked her first TV credit as Teresa Azen on an episode of Chicago Med. In 2018, Hurd moved to Australia to receive her MFA in Writing for Performance from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). Since then, Becca has worked as both an actor and in the script department on various TV shows filmed in Australia and the USA.
