Born and raised in Michigan. His late father was an elementary school teacher and celebrated stage actor, his late mother a homemaker. He's the youngest of three children. While growing up, he took part in church programs and performed in plays. It was during this time that August fell in love with acting. He was thrilled with the idea of living different, exciting lives. "The first movie I remember watching was 'Three Amigos', perhaps that explains my crazy sense of humor".August attended Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan. He excelled in multiple sports including Golf, Basketball and Football. After finishing school, he began working in sales and performing in various community theatre productions. But it wasn't until 2012, when he moved to Los Angeles that he began focusing on his acting career full time. Having not been in LA for even a year, he has already appeared in over 12 projects including Feature films, Commercials, Web Series and Short Films.August studies at Margie Haber's acting studio in West Hollywood and resides in Los Angeles with his wife Ashleigh. The couple is expecting their first child in May 2014.
