Anthony James Rando was born to Tony and Robin Rando in Portsmouth, Virginia, in 1985. He attended Pen Argyl High School in Pennsylvania, where he met his future Aura Pictures co-producer, Augie Kennady, and fellow filmmakers Eric Cesare, Adam Pasquali, and Steve Monachello. Together the group has produced several short films, and as of summer 2008 are producing their first feature film.
