Ann Codrington was born on Sep 10, 1894 in India. Ann Codrington's big-screen debut came with The Price of Wisdom directed by Reginald Denham in 1935.
Sister to Kenneth de Burgh Codrington, renowned archaeologist and art historian, widely present in the Victoria and Albert museum. Also, Ann Codrington was survivor of the S.S.Persia torpedo sinking, while pregnant, but unfortunately lost her mother in the sinking on the 30 December 1915. In her retirement, Ann Codrington became a pioneer of breeding curly coated cats, and became quite a well known judge at cat shows.
