Andy Dugan was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 16, 1981. He started acting in local theater at the age of 4. He also did local TV and some modeling.It was in 2001 that he moved to New York City to pursue for of a career. He studied at the New York Film Academy and continued working in theater. He started to love the other side of the camera during that time a lot.He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and started working with other film makers on a daily basis.
