Andreas Diesen

Andreas Diesen was born on Nov 20, 1945 in Norway. Andreas Diesen's big-screen debut came with Aldri annet enn bråk directed by Edith Carlmar in 1954, strarring Roy.

Has all his grown life been working in NRK, The Norwegian Broadcasting, the last 35 years as maker of programs. His specialty is biographical portraits of living and historical theaters, film and TV - actors. Started his career as a child actor, but chose to move behind the camera, and work with entertainment as a writer and director. Has also done directorial work outside NRK. Is also a well known translator of musicals and comedy plays. Is at the present president of the Comedy writers associations "Norsk Revyforfatterforening" and has been awarded "The Leif Juster award" and "The Leonard award" for his work as a preserver of "Comedy history of Norway".
