A.M Le Brocq was born in June 1981 at Maitland Hospital NSW Australia. She grew up with her 9 siblings on a property in the Hunter Valley. She attended St Catherine's College and afterwards obtained certificates in journalism, media and marketing. Her rural upbringing and early studies in mythology and folklore began a lifelong passion, which she has channelled into a young adult fantasy series currently being completed.
