Ali Atay is a Turkish actor, musician, filmmaker and writer who graduated from Mimar Sinan Theatre Conservatory in 1999. He is well known with his role as Mecnun on television series "Leyla ile Mecnun". In 2013 he has acted in the movie "Sen Aydinlatirsin Geceyi" which written and directed by Onur Ünlü. In 2014, he wrote and directed his very first movie called "Limonata". In 2018, he wrote and directed his second movie "Ölümlü Dünya". He also starred in 2017 blockbuster "Ayla: The Daughter of War". In 2018 he acted in movie "Türk Isi Dondurma". In 2019 he won the Best Actor Award for his role at "Noah Land" at Tribeca Festival.
