Alfonso de Anda was born on Jul 25, 1974 in Mexico. Alfonso de Anda's big-screen debut came with Soy tu doble - Season 1 directed by Alfonso de Anda in 2012.

Mexico City native Poncho De Anda began his career in 1996 as a radio announcer and producer. He ventured into television with TV Azteca's Channel 7 before moving to the U.S. in 2001. De Anda has hosted morning shows, reality shows and red carpet events for MUN2 TV and Telemundo. Among these were the Emilio Estefan-produced musical competition "Nuevas Voces de América," the Billboard Latin Music Awards, the Miss Universe Contest and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In 2010 he became co-host of Univision's morning show "Despierta América." He also directed the reality show "Dale Con Ganas" and hosted the 48th and 49th edition of the Rose Parade for the network. In 2013 Poncho became host of the Simon Cowell franchise "El Factor X". A year later, he returned to Mexico and TV Azteca as the anchor of the morning show "Venga la Alegría". He also hosted reality shows including "Soy Tu Doble VIP" and "No Pierdas El Billete." Since then, De Anda has hosted Univisión's "La Gran Sopresa" and HITN's "Mundo CNET".
