He graduated from Faculty of History in 1961 and Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1965.In 1962, he plays first role in the movie Vacanta la mare . Other notable roles in Dimitrie Cantemir (1973), Razboiul Independentei (1977) , Amen (2002) . Play on the stage of the theater ''Nottara'' in Bucharest.He was decorated on December 13, 2002 with the National Order of the Faithful Service in the rank of Knight.He is married with Simona Repan.They have two sons Mateiu Dimitri Repan and Alexandru Repan .
