Born in Rome, Italy, Alberto Taraglio studied at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia where he graduated as a director with a 40-minute film entitled "You are different," starring Sergio Castellitto. He worked with director Gianni Amelio as screenwriter in RAI tv series "I ragazzi di via Panisperna", (1988) and feature films as "Così Ridevano" ("The Way they Laughed", 1998), winner of Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1998, "La Tenerezza" ("Tenderness", 2017), nominated for the screenplay at the David di Donatello Aw. 2017, and "Hammamet" (2019). Taraglio is also creator and writer of some italian television series like "Codice Rosso" (2005), "Baciato dal sole" (2016) and the very popular "I Cesaroni".
