Given all the injustice in the world, Margot no longer knows if life has any meaning at all. Disillusioned, no longer believing in the efficacy of political activism, she decides to leave it up to the Dardu, a legendary carp supposed to be able to foretell the future. But at the lake she discovers there is a new rule: fishing is now forbidden.
